Openly gay tennis icon Martina Navratilova is condemning hormone-altering experiments on 'gay sheep'at Oregon State University (OSU) and Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) that seek to manipulate sheep’s sexual preferences and make them heterosexual. The tests are funded by taxpayers through the year 2008.

Portland Passes Resolution Calling for Repeal of 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell'
Calling it “a civil rights issue,” Portland Mayor Tom Potter and the Portland City Council have approved a resolution urging Congress to repeal the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” ban on lesbian, gay and bisexual personnel. Resolutions supporting the Military Readiness Enhancement Act have been approved by city councils in New York, Chicago, St. Louis, West Hollywood, San Francisco and Cathedral City, Calif.
